Michael Farias

Pastor. Entrepreneur. Visionary

Pastor Mike has a long career in both ministry and business.  He accepted the assignment of Senior Pastor of Dixon Community Church in the fall of 2018.

An ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and former pastor, and bible school teacher, Mike is also a successful entrepreneur and contractor.  He has founded several companies, and is well known and widely published in the plumbing service sector.

Mike is passionate about ministry and business, and enjoys developing leaders in both arenas.  He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Epic Bible College and Graduate School in Sacramento, and is the President and founder of Greater Than Gold, a ministry that publishes and distributes Bible study curriculum around the world.

Mike and his wife Cindy have been married for over 40 years and live in Dixon.

On any given Sunday you might see Mike and Cindy’s three adult children, with their spouses and all four of their grandchildren in attendance at Dixon Community Church.

Christy Cuchetti

Children's Director

Christy grew up in Winters, CA. She began babysitting when she was 12 years old and found she had a love for children. Christy became a Christian and began serving at her church working with the children’s ministries after she moved to Arkansas in 2005.  While working in a Kids Day Out program at a church in Arkansas as an assistant director, she began teaching the Bible to children and soon realized her passion for teaching children and Jesus could become one.

The Lord called her back to California in 2015 where she began to go to church at Dixon Community Church and within a year was called to become the Children's Director

Her love for Jesus and children is continuing to grow at Dixon Community Church as she serves as the Director of Children’s Ministry.  She married her husband Paul Cuchetti of over 20 years and they have two daughters, Katie and Erica.

Mason Gizard

Youth Director

Mason was raised by his single mom, Sandra, with his three siblings.  He became a Christian in the summer of 2000, after which he became very involved at church especially in his teen years. Growing up in a small church he learned to wear many hats including starting and leading the choir, leading outreaches, children's ministry, and youth ministry.  At 24, after raising his siblings following his mother's death, he decided to change careers from restaurant management to helping at-risk youth as a program director at StudentReach a non-profit serving youth.

He is an advocate of mentoring youth and is the regional mentoring leader for Defending the Cause Regional Alliance, a non-profit working to bring churches, non-profits, and other organizations together in supporting the fatherless.  Mason is passionate about leading young people to Jesus and teaching the word in dynamic and engaging ways that speak to young people where they are at while challenging them to greater faith.
